About
In 2018, Thomas Tiger Wallis was a puny 13 year old boy with a high pitched voice and an affinity for playing Xbox. His parents hated that he played video games. They thought he was a loser. So one day they decided that he should find another hobby in the hopes to save his soul and prevent him from joining the Overwatch League.
At this time, Thomas was playing ukulele in his compulsory music classes at Lorne P-12 College. But it was because of the encouragement of Head Music Teacher, John Waller and the shaming of Luke and Michelle Wallis that he would decide to become a man and pick up the guitar. From here, his life changed dramatically.
Thomas Tiger Wallis was like an actual tiger when it came to him picking up music in the coming years. He jumped straight in and became an alpha in the wild, besting his other idiot 13 year old contemporaries in his music class. He began to play in bands and hone his skills at home, playing for hours on end as he had little to no friends. But when 2020 arrived his passion would become even stronger.
In 2020, Thomas was introduced to his first DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). It was Soundtrap. It should have been called "Soundcrap" because it was the most pathetic DAW you could ever use but at the time it was everything to him. Over the next 3 years he would realise his love for producing and would go on to create more than 300 songs, honing his skills as a producer, songwriter, beat-maker, and mixer.
Returning back to normal life in 2022, he would join Ciao Bella, his first notable band. Performing lead guitar in 2022 and bass guitar in 2023, Thomas was a driving force who greatly helped the band record their first single, Astrology Signs and helped bring home their win at Queenscliff Music Festival's Foot In The Door (Folk + Blues) competition in 2023.
Eventually leaving the band in early 2024, Thomas decided to take a break from music after an incredibly busy previous year, his last year of school in-fact. Notably, Thomas achieved a study score of 50/50 in his VCE/VET Music Performance class. But the workload was seemingly too much and ended up burning him out for quite some time.
Being introduced to the Geelong Music Scene because of his time in Ciao Bella, Thomas decided to involve himself more and more in the community by going to gigs and watching local bands such as COOLDAD, Violet, and Meraki Minds. His love for music eventually started to rekindle and after an incredibly lucky, stars aligning moment with COOLDAD, he was asked to join the band as their lead guitarist.
In the modern day, Thomas is performing with COOLDAD, studying sound production at RMIT and is living in Essendon, going to gigs regularly. He is also in the process of forming his own original band to express the songs he had been stockpiling on the sidelines for many years. His George Harrison era is in the midst.

“Thomas Wallis has an incredibly in depth musical knowledge and has been a key part of every band he has been in.
Anyone who gets a chance to play with Thomas should consider themselves extremely lucky.”
